This reminded me of one of my best dining experiences in the Netherlands. Great food, great dining experience, somehow still very affordable! We got a variety of starters, and the staff was very attentive, I cannot express enough how uncommon this kind of service is in modern day America, for a truly spectacular spot for all-day breakfast or Italian lunch/dinner, PINO is the play. Also, they have the best damn banana split I've ever had the pleasure of tasting.
Absolutely outstanding meal! Grilled veggies in salad were excellent, the pizza was incredible and”no flop”, grilled chicken sandwich was very good. Fries were perfect. Nice atmosphere and outside patio area Service is a little over the top
Absolutely great food, atmosphere, and staff. The food was great, so fresh! We had fillet of cod, linguine with clams, bread, caesar salad , and glass of wine.
The first time there is just me and my son, Brian, the second time there was my son, Brian and 2 friends and the food is always good and it comes out hot. I had salmon both times and we all share. And the dessert, oh my gosh, it was amazing, did somebody say chocolate.
I didn’t want to battle traffic, so I decided to stall for dinner—and I’m so incredibly grateful I did. Pino Italian Restaurant is a true treasure. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, inviting, and authentically Italian. But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service and the unforgettable dining experience. This wasn’t just dinner—it was a culinary moment. The chef came table-side to personally discuss our meal, offering a level of personalization I’ve never experienced before. It felt like a private chef’s table in the heart of Italy. Every dish was perfectly timed and delivered with care, thanks to a phenomenal server who seemed to read our minds. The flavors, the atmosphere, the people—everything about this restaurant was magic. I will gladly make the 48-minute drive again and again, just to relive this experience. So happy I found this place... Pino, you have a new lifelong fan!
This is a special place and some of the best food we’ve ever had. We were served by the owner, who was a complete delight. He brought us a salad to complement the fennel and sausage pizza we ordered, and it was perfectly seasoned, dressed exactly right, and the warm roasted veggies on the crisp romaine were a wonderful textural and temperature contrast. Then our wood fired pizza arrived, and the crust was amazing. It was cracker thin in the center, chewy and perfectly scorched on the edge. Again, the flavors were perfectly balanced— it didn’t need a single thing. We were then asked if we like chocolate, and were brought a gelato bombe that was a beautiful end to the meal. The chocolate coating was well-tempered and snapped perfectly under our spoons, and the gelato inside was creamy and rich. This meal was the highlight of our trip, and this place is one I’ll think of frequently. Thank you so much!
One of the best restaurants in town!!! Their wood fire pizzas are amazing, grilled chicken sandwich and the most scrumptious dessert, the Bomba!!! Their menu is diverse including breakfast, salads, sandwiches and pasta all with true Italian style. The outdoor patio is perfect! You have no clue you're right next door to Harkins Theater! You are greeted and taken care of by the amazing staff and owners!! Movie and then lunch or dinner! I can't wait to go back and try their homemade pasta and something from their wonderful wine menu!!
I visited this restaurant 5/19/2025. This restaurant is amazing. The service was excellent. The man that kept checking on us was so nice and the whole staffing crew was just amazing and prompt. The staff and service alone was amazing and made us so comfortable but the food.....the FOOD was absolutely delicious. I got the smoke salmon pasta and it was so delicious and crave able. I will definitely be back for that pasta alone. The apps we had were the wings and the small bread and cheese with a sauce for the bread that was so yummy and full of flavor. The wings were so juice and perfectly spicy. My sister had the caccioepe pasta and I tried some and that was so delicious as well. They cook with their hearts here that is for sure! You can taste it in the food. The dessert was the perfect ending to the whole experience. We had the banana split with bruleed bananas, the decadent tiramisu and the hazelnut cake. I am picky about my tiramisu and this one was perfect! I have nothing bad to say about this place! The only regret I have is not being able to try the whole menu DEFINITELY gube this place a try!
